We can finally talk about the new and improved Kmart building. Volunteers of America is moving in along with a whole bunch of other good things. It will be great for the city to get rid of this blighted site.

We are beginning work on the renovation of the old photography studio in Corunna. This should be a great addition to the area near the courthouse. This is a before photo, let's see what we can turn it into.

We are working on a very exciting custom home on rainbow lake. The location is too beautiful for words. Here are some preliminary pictures of the design.

We are remodeling the University Quality Inn in Frandor. A lot of ADA issues to overcome but we are delighted to have an indoor project to work on while the weather is cold.

There are several great projects going on in downtown Owosso now that we have our historic distric. Our latest are the apartments at the ancient Robbins furniture building. Here is a before and after of the front elevation and a plan of one of the rooms. We are going to have some fun with this and make it very unique while restoring some historic character.

There have been lots of great things happening in the past month, too many to mention really, so lets just say that we are pushing the concept of sustainability as far as we can and designing homes, sites and buildings that make their own energy and grow their food. It is great fun and a great challenge to guide people back to a self sustaining way of life.
Jeff is also on the board of Museum Africa, the $50 million project in Chicago. The big fund raising push is under way and we hope to have construction underway in 2011.

Here is another picture of the downtown Owosso building, this time with the brick cleaned off. Please do not paint brick, it is beautiful just the way it is and does not need any improvement.

We have created a computer rendering for one of the buildings in downtown Owosso. It was one of the buildings that was burned down by our arsonist. Hopefully we can get the chance to return to it's former glory.
The Funeral home in Ithaca is now complete and they are just waiting for the asphalt to cure.

Here are some new pictures of the funeral home up in Ithaca. It is coming along very nicely.
I also did a quick sketch of downtown in Owosso in celebration of our Historic district being approved. The old strawberry patch building hs been done over for the new owners. Let me know what other buildings need to be updated. (Obviousy the blue one next door)

With so many homes out there in need of a little (or a lot of) tender loving care we have decided to begin offering property management services to other rental owners. We will be helping others manage their homes and their investments. We are looking forward to doing our part to improve the quality of homes and rentals in michigan. Just submitted my proposal for the Owosso Fountain. I think it is a pretty cool idea but you can let me know. Take a gander at the PDF linked below. If they pick me I am going to propose some hidden clues that will start people out on a treasure hunt around town. It would be like like the DaVinci code in Owosso.

Presented some possible sites for the dog park tonight and started work on an eye doctors office. Dog park group is coming along nicely. Looking for some big grants for the Chicago museum. Total price tag expected to be about $45 million for the building, very exciting. If you know of anything please let us know. Got some good ideas for a funeral home addition. Need to draw those up and get them over to the owner.

The Smiths Funeral home in Itaca is under construction and moving fast. I have added some pictures of the featured projects page. There are also some pictures of the Dewitt Firstbank. Things move so fast that it is sometimes hard to keep up but that is what makes it exciting too. I am always thinking about and working on the website so stay tuned.

TEaM Design is using some of our pro-bono time to assist with the park designs in the city of Owosso. Owosso is planning on a new BMX track and a new dog park. You can find out about the dog park from the Bark Park Owosso Facebook Goup. There are over 500 members already. Way to go Bark Parkers!

The Dewitt bank is under construction. Sure it is just a big muddy hole in the ground right now but that is how exciting building projects start. This summer it will be a fully functional banking institution.
